How long have you been playing disc golf?

4 years

What do you love most about the sport?

The community! The disc golf community is so supportive and the people I’ve met have quickly become like family. I’ve never experienced anything like it!

What makes disc golf better than the other sports you have played?

Cheerleading shaped me, but competing was a team effort. It’s nice to be responsible for my own successes and losses.

How do you approach a new course?

I love playing new courses. I’ve played many tournaments blind and usually I play better because I have less expectations.

What motivates you to continually improve your game?

I’m competitive by nature, so disc golf gives me a way to fuel that fire. The support I have from the community, FlighTowel and my other sponsors definitely motivate me to get better.

What do you do to stay focused playing in tourneys?

When things go wrong I tell myself, “it’s never too late to do something awesome,” and try to reset my mental game.

What’s your most memorable win?

2022 Straddle the Brazos! I signed up for FA1 because no one was in FA2, playing against girls who continually beat me. We played at Brazos Park East which is one of the toughest courses in Texas. So to get the win, on a hard course, against women who are much higher rated, was an amazing feeling!

What’s your most memorable disc golf moment?

The 2020 Samui Swine in Thailand. It was just surreal playing disc golf in such a beautiful and tropical place.

What are your top three favorite discs?

•Latitude 64 Jade •Latitude 64 Diamond •Mint Discs Mustang

What are your top three courses you have played?

•Koh Samui, Thailand •Flying Armadillo Mini Course, Texas •Loriella Park, Virginia

If you could play any course in the world, which would it be?

Ross Island - Antarctica because it's the most exclusive course in the world.

Who is your disc golf hero, and how were you influenced be him or her?

My best friend, Nikki Wyatt PDGA #77454. I met Nikki shortly after I began playing disc golf when a friend and I found out about the local ladies league, Chicks Chasing Chains. Nikki started CCC back in 2017 and it has grown exponentially since. We now have chapters across the country.. Not only did she lay the foundation for the amazing women's league, she's an amazing mother and friend! I don't know many people who could go out and throw a 900+ rated round, while 5 months pregnant, in Texas summer heat but she did! #goals

Whats in the bag?

I throw a mixed bag that's Trilogy heavy. My go-to putters are Deputies. I've also been using Pure's for approach shots and headwind putts. I only bag an Innova Kite and Adam Hammes Tour Series Wasp for mids. I love my drivers. I carry several weights of Diamonds, Jades and Sapphires. I also love my Air Maul for hyzerflips. I'm a huge fan of Air plastic and anything I can finesse through the woods.

What non-disc golf hobbies do you have?

Traveling, eating and riding horses.

Any superstitions you have before or during a round?

No superstitions but I usually always get donuts before tournament mornings.

What does #NoBadRounds mean to you?

It means walking away from each round, knowing that something good came out of it!

What do you love most about your FlighTowel?

It's perfect for travel! Even when I can't carry discs on my trips, I can keep one with me to go through the motions.
