I broke my back skateboarding. A chiropractor recommended it. And I had played super casually in 2008-2009 |
| What do you love most about the sport? |
The fact that you route for your competitors. You are truly stoked when someone hits an ace or sinks a big putt. |
| What makes disc golf better than the other sports you have played? |
The people you meet. You literally run into and become friends with people from all walks of life. Poor, rich, black, white, male, female, plumbers, Dr's, retirees, and 7 year Olds. It's fantastic |
| How do you approach a new course? |
I compare the holes to ones I've played before. I have to play alot of my tournaments blind, so it's easier that way. |
| What motivates you to continually improve your game? |
Progression is in my DNA. I've been a skater for 35 years and you constantly try new things. Bigger tricks, more technical, etc. Disc Golf is the same way to me. Putting is like an Ollie, hyzerflip like a kick flip and so on. |
| What do you do to stay focused playing in tourneys? |
I think about everything that can go right!! I don't think about what can go wrong |
| What’s your most memorable win? |
My 1st win. I win MA40 and Shawshank Disc Golf Penitentiary in a freezing downpour. And I won by 9 strokes. |
| What’s your most memorable disc golf moment? |
I slid into a river as I let go of a putt during The Merica open. Hip deep, and it went in. And I won! |

| Who is your disc golf hero, and how were you influenced be him or her? |
Fredy Meza He is the best disc golfer in the world. That's not a joke. If he could do it full time he would world champ by the 2nd year. But instead he has a new baby and works a full time job and is still able to travel and win. I dig the drive! |
