How long have you been playing disc golf?

7

How did you get your start in disc golf?

My dad started playing after he got a dog and needed somewhere to take the dog for walks. He brought me out to play not too long after that.

What do you love most about the sport?

Its nice to get outside and meet all sorts of people.

What makes disc golf better than the other sports you have played?

I was never really much of a sports playing person until I started playing disc golf.

How do you approach a new course?

I usually just kind of wing it when playing a new course, but play a bit conservative and try to keep mistakes to a minimum.

What motivates you to continually improve your game?

My game has kind kind of taken a back seat to my focus on running events lately, but I know I have the ability to put my skills together and play consistently good disc golf and I look forward to having time to make that happen.

What do you do to stay focused playing in tourneys?

Have fun even if I'm playing less than great. Don't dwell on bad shots and it won't bring the rest of your round down.

What’s your most memorable win?

I've yet to win as far as playing a disc golf event goes, but so far near universal praise for the event I just ran is pretty big for me.

What’s your most memorable disc golf moment?

Probably my second tournament ace, playing on a card with cool people that I know and friend on the card behind me also got to see it happen. And I kind of called the ace on a Facebook post the day before the tournament.

What are your top three favorite discs?

Dynamic Discs Deputy Dynamic Discs Lucid Convict Innova Champion Banshee

What are your top three courses you have played?

SeaTac DGC - SeaTac, WA Kaposia Park - South St. Paul, MN Riverbend DGC (Milo McIver State Park) - Estacada, OR

If you could play any course in the world, which would it be?

Probably The Beast in Nokia Finland

Who is your disc golf hero, and how were you influenced be him or her?

Keith Lionetti, owner of the local disc shop and a major part of the disc golf community in western Washington. The amount of time he has put into work on the courses is a major influence in why I have gotten more involved in the disc golf community.

Whats in the bag?

Putters for putting: Dynamic Discs Blend Deputies Putters for throwing: Westside Harps, Dynamic Moonshine Warden, Fuzion Burst Deputy Midranges: Z Buzzz, Champion RocX3, Icon Pursuit, Z Sol, VIP Pine Fairways: Icon Patriot, Legend Patriot, Champion Banshee, Lucid Convict, Hybrid Convict Distance Drivers: Star Wraith x2, Color Glow Champion Shryke, Legend Nemesis, ESP Thrasher, ESP Force, ESP Machete

What non-disc golf hobbies do you have?

I like to watch movies. For the most part if I'm not at work or sleeping I'm probably doing something disc golf related.

Any superstitions you have before or during a round?

Not really

What does #NoBadRounds mean to you?

Always have fun or always learn something. You don't necessarily have to play good to have a good round.

What do you love most about your FlighTowel?

Besides how useful they are having the logo from my events on my FlighTowel and FT Mini is super cool.
